By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

MyMap is an AI-powered platform that turns ideas into visual maps, mind maps, and diagrams on an interactive canvas. You describe what you need in natural language, and our AI helps create and refine content. Features include canvas editing, AI chat, shared maps, and presentation mode.

3. Account and Usage Rights

You must provide accurate information when signing up. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. One account per person; do not share accounts. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe the rights of others or upload unlawful content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service
• Use the Service to generate harmful, misleading, or illegal content

4. Subscription and Payment

MyMap offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are processed by Paddle. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms and our billing practices:

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the billing date
• Plan changes (upgrade/downgrade) take effect per our pricing rules
• Refunds are handled per Paddle's policy; contact us for eligible cases
• All fees are in the currency shown at checkout and include applicable taxes where required

5. Intellectual Property

MyMap and its branding, software, and designs are owned by us. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service while your account is active. You retain ownership of the content you create (maps, nodes, text). By using the Service, you grant us a license to host, store, and process your content as needed to provide the Service.

6. AI Features

Our AI generates content based on your prompts. AI outputs are provided for assistance only and are not professional, legal, or financial advice. Do not rely on them for decisions requiring expert judgment. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.

7. Data and Privacy

How we collect, use, and protect your data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described there.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination and Suspension

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or for operational, legal, or safety reasons. Upon termination, we may delete your data per our retention policy. You may export your data before closing your account.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms. If you disagree, close your account before the effective date.

11. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MyMap operates, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights under your local law.
